The World Crafts Forum, scheduled for November 22-24, 2024, in New Delhi, India, will be a landmark event celebrating India's rich craft and cultural legacy. Hosted during India's 75th year of independence and the 60th anniversary of the World Crafts Council AISBL, this forum marks a unique moment to elevate the country's contributions to the global craft sector. Following the New Delhi event, the celebrations will continue in Srinagar from November 25-27, 2024, offering further opportunities to showcase India’s artisanship and craft traditions to an international audience.

Smt. Kamaladevi Chattopadhyay, one of the Founders of World Crafts Council AISBL has championed the preservation and promotion of craft traditions worldwide for nearly six decades. The World Crafts Forum will bring together artisans, policymakers, and craft leaders from around the globe to foster cross-cultural exchange, empower artisans, and create sustainable development pathways for the craft sector.

The event aims to position India at the forefront of shaping the future of crafts, while celebrating the past. It will also emphasize the restoration, preservation, and modernization of the industry, crafting a roadmap for the next decade through policy and international cooperation.

Join us in New Delhi and Srinagar for this remarkable event as India showcases its craft heritage on an international stage.
