Cheongju International Craft Competition 2025

The Cheongju International Craft Competition (hereinafter CICC), which began 1999, seeks values that are not bound by the limitations of crafts through artists who create new discourse based on a spirit of challenge. The CICC which has thus far sought to discover experimental and creative craftworks and artists through the world, has been held eleven times to date. Throughout the CICC, more than 1,700 works from all over the world in diverse media including metal, ceramic, wood, textiles, and glass have been recognized with awards. The CICC encourages the creative desire of the artists in craft fields, and aims to showcase the diversity and novelty of contemporary crafts to the public. The Cheongju Craft Biennale Organizing Committee will continue to support the discovery of global artists and their creative activities.
