Sibay City in the Republic of Bashkortostan recently hosted a landmark award ceremony after officially being designated a World Craft City for Artistic Stone Crafts and Bashkir National Jewellery for 2025/26!
This prestigious global recognition marks Sibay as the 81st World Craft City in the world. The celebrations brought together international delegates and cultural leaders, including Nadia Meer, Official Representative of the World Crafts Council (WCC) and Additional Director for the Africa Region, who attended to mark this momentous occasion.
