Murotjon Azimov, Governor of Qashqadaryo Region, met with Mr. Sa’ad Al-Qaddumi, President of the World Crafts Council AISBL (International). During the meeting, discussions focused on further developing craftsmanship in the region, strengthening international cooperation, and expanding opportunities for local artisans to receive education and professional development abroad in their respective fields.
Additionally, views were exchanged on ensuring the active participation of Qashqadaryo artisans in prestigious international craft festivals, exhibitions, and events worldwide, promoting their products internationally, and building a broader awareness within the global community about the region’s rich craft traditions.
The parties agreed to further develop mutual cooperation, support artisans, and promote the region’s artisanal potential on an international scale.
