World Crafts Council (AISBL) is the trading name of the organization registered in Belgium and governed by Belgian Law, located at 7000 Mons (Belgium)-Rue de la Trouille 17/02.

By using the World Crafts Council (AISBL) Collections Online you agree to be bound by these terms, which shall take effect immediately on your first use. If you do not agree to be bound by all of the following terms please do not further access or use this website.

These terms and conditions of use and your use of the services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Belgian International law, and the Belgian Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction in connection with all matters relating to these terms and conditions of use.

 

Membership

National Entity

  • Can vote in a General Assembly

  • Are first admitted at the regional level as the best representative of the crafts in their country

  • Their rights can be suspended following non-payment of dues, or violation of T &C

  • Their membership can be excluded by a 2⁄3 majority vote at the General Assembly

 

Associate Member

  • No voting rights

  • Are first admitted at the regional level
     

Individual Member

  • No voting rights

  • Are admitted at the General Assembly

Membership Fees: Members are required to pay an annual membership fees as determined by the World Crafts
Council AISBL General Assembly based on the category of membership. Failure to pay dues may result in suspension or
termination of membership.


Code of Conduct: Members are expected to adhere to a code of conduct that promotes respect, integrity, and
professionalism in all interactions related to the World Crafts Council AISBL.


Termination of Membership: Membership may be terminated if a member violates the organization's code of
conduct, fails to pay membership dues, or engages in activities detrimental to the objectives of the World Crafts Council
AISBL.


Intellectual Property Rights: Members acknowledge and agree that any intellectual property created or shared during
their membership remains the property of the World Crafts Council AISBL and may be used for promotional or
educational purposes.


Data Privacy: Members consent to the collection and use of their personal information for the purposes of
membership administration and communication with the World Crafts Council AISBL. Personal information will not be
shared with third parties without consent.


Amendments to Terms and Conditions: The World Crafts Council AISBL reserves the right to amend these terms and
conditions at any time. Members will be notified of any changes and are responsible for complying with the updated
terms.


Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Belgium, and any disputes arising out of or in
connection with membership will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Belgium.


Acceptance: By submitting the membership form, applicants agree to accept by these terms and conditions and affirm
their commitment and agreement to abide by the principles, objectives, Bye-laws, and regulations of the WCC AISBL.


Admission of Members: Admission of new members is subject to approval by the relevant regional executive board or
directly by the WCC AISBL Board Members and ratification by the General Assembly.

Eligibility of Membership

Membership in the World Crafts Council (WCC) is open to institutions, organizations, and individuals from countries within the
five regions of the WCC who are actively involved in the encouragement, development, promotion, and support of crafts in any
capacity, both domestically and internationally, and who agree to abide by the principles, objectives, Bye-laws, and regulations
of the WCC.


Categories of Membership

The WCC AISBL organization is composed of two types of members, that is National Entity and Associate Member, all being
classified in three categories:

 

  • National Entity (Ordinary) Member: Means a legal entity under private or public law, including every group, community, company, association or foundation or any other organization, a State or a Government office, a ministry or an agency that best represents the interests of men and women skilled in the arts and crafts of such countries in the context of the activities of WCC organisation.
     

  • Associate Member: An Associate Member may be an international or regional Non Government Organization or any other organization or individual with an interest in arts and crafts.
     

  • Honorary or Individual Associate Member: An Honorary or Individual Member may be recommended by an Ordinary Member and admitted by the General Assembly.
