Rari (Chile)
Rari is known in Chile for its artisan population who work with the material crin or horsehair in English.
Traditionally, figurines were the most common product made from horsehair, but craftsmen also make jewellery.
Both natural horsehair and dyed horse hair are used to create intricate designs. The horse hair is also often supplemented with natural plant fibres to create different shapes and effects.
